About Stornoway

Stornoway, on the Isle of Lewis, is the largest town in Scotland's Western Isles, the Outer Hebrides. Lewis is actually not an island, but the north part of the Island of Lewis and Harris. In Harris are the ports of Leverburgh and Tarbert - meaning that Lewis and Harris have three ports in total.

The ferry terminal is only a 5 minute drive from Stornoway centre. The terminal can be reached via A866 or A857 and is well indicated.

Terminal Opening Hours

During the winter, the terminal is open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00, Saturday from 09:00 to 14:30 and Sunday from 12:00 to 14:30.

During the summer, the terminal is open Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 17:00 and Sunday from 12:00 to 16:00.
