About Uig

The village of Uig is located in the northern tip of the Isle of Skye, on the Trotternish peninsular. Uig (Norse for "sheltered bay") boasts lovely walks around the village taking in waterfalls, woodlands and cliff-tops, as well as restaurants, a bar, hotels, B&Bs, a campsite, shops, a petrol station, a pottery, brewery, bike hire and much more. The village is a great base from which to explore Skye.
