Wightlink Isle of Wight Ferries operates a round-the-clock, 365 days per year service between the UK mainland and the Isle of Wight, with up to 150 services a day. Wightlink Isle of Wight Ferries operate three routes: Portsmouth to Fishbourne & Lymington to Yarmouth, which are both car ferries, and a FastCat, foot passenger only catamaran service, between Portsmouth and Ryde.

To travel abroad with your pet, you will require a Pet Passport.
You can take your cat or dog on your Wightlink sailing. When you select your preferred route, simply select the number of dogs or cats that you are travelling with. If the option is not available, please contact us.
Pets can travel for free on Wightlink ferries. All pets must stay in the vehicle for the duration of the voyage.

Wightlink is a leading ferry company who operate between Portsmouth and Lymington on the South coast of England, and Fishbourne and Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. Wightlink have been in operation under various banners for over 160 years.
Today, Wightlink carries more than 4.6 million passengers across the Solent every year. It offers around 48,000 sailings a year, with nine ferries operating on three routes. The crossing time between Portsmouth and Ryde Pier Head by catermaran is a mere 22 minutes; between Lymington and Yarmouth by car ferry is approximately 40 minutes; and between Portsmouth and Fishbourne by car ferry is around 45 minutes.
Wightlink's core routes are car ferries from Lymington to Yarmouth (40 minutes) and Portsmouth to Fishbourne (45 minutes). A fast passenger-only catamaran operates between Portsmouth Harbour and Ryde Pier Head (taking 22 minutes), and directly links into the Island Line rail line.
Modern Wightlink ferries offer comfortable lounges, open decks and refreshment facilities (car ferries only) and Wightlink’s dedicated Terminals also have a range of facilities.
